Session Information & Care Guidelines

Scheduling, Care & Expectations

We are a specialized clinic focused on chronic pain management, post-surgical care, and therapeutic massage. While we do offer enhanced relaxation sessions, our pricing reflects advanced training, licensing, and specialty care.

Any add-on treatments recommended by your therapist are based solely on clinical need and your individual goals. Recommendations are never made for sales purposes. Therapists do not receive commission, bonuses, or incentives for add-ons.

If any accommodation is needed prior to your session, please let us know in advance. Your comfort and safety are always a priority.

Tipping is appreciated but entirely optional. Your care is our focus.

Minors & Accompanied Clients

Treatment for minors is available. A parent or legal guardian is required to remain in the treatment room at all times.

Post-surgical clients or those unable to transport themselves may be accompanied by a driver. During the session, drivers are welcome to utilize our amenities, including the recovery lounge, full-body massage chair, beverage station, and snack cart.

Payments & Insurance

Accepted forms of payment include credit and debit cards and Venmo. Checks are not accepted.

Cash is accepted; however, we do not keep cash on-site. Please bring the exact amount.

Insurance is not accepted. HSA and FSA cards are welcome. Some clients have successfully submitted receipts to their insurance provider for reimbursement; however, reimbursement is not guaranteed. Please contact your insurance company directly for details.

Products & Retail

A selection of therapeutic tools and products used in your care may be available for purchase in the reception area. This includes full-size CBD products that may be offered as optional upgrades during your session.

Scheduling & Communication Notes

Occasionally, your therapist may be running 5–10 minutes behind schedule. This can occur when clients experiencing chronic pain or post-surgical limitations need additional time to safely get on or off the table. While we make every effort to stay on schedule and communicate delays whenever possible, these situations can be unpredictable.

If your therapist is running behind, you will always receive your full scheduled session time.

Please note that our phone line is text-only. Calling the office will route you to voicemail. For the quickest response, we recommend texting the same number used for your appointment confirmations and reminders.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you will be provided with a building access code. This code is required to enter the building and access the elevator during:

• Weekends

• Weekdays before 8:00 AM

• Weekdays after 5:00 PM

The access code does not change. If it ever does, you will be notified in advance.

Session Customization & Booking Guidelines

Please note that all sessions are fully customized to each individual. Service selections are listed to reflect the modalities offered and to help guide your booking.

You may select the modality that best aligns with your primary concern, and techniques can be adjusted at the time of your appointment as needed. However, the scheduled time frame cannot be changed in most cases, so please be sure to book the appropriate session length (60, 90, or 120 minutes).

During your consultation and session, if what you’re describing requires a different modality than the one booked, your therapist will discuss this with you before any changes are made. No services or upgrades that change the session price will be added without your consent. There are no surprises.

If, during assessment, your therapist determines that the selected modality is not in your best interest, this will be clearly communicated and explained. Each session is guided by clinical discretion to ensure safety and effective care. For example, clients experiencing an autoimmune flare may require limits on trigger point work, as excessive stimulation can increase symptom severity.

Custom session durations are available by request. In select cases, such as for patients managing chronic pain, three-hour sessions may be offered. These appointments are customized and must be scheduled directly with our staff.

Upgrades and add-ons may be added at the time of your session, with the exception of extended hot stone and extended wildflower massage, which must be scheduled in advance.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
48 hour advance notice is required when canceling, or rescheduling  an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of the total session cost, 24hrs or under you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist  and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

We look forward to working with you!

Modalities

BODYWORK SERVICES

All rates listed are per hour

Structural integration/Manipulative therapy

155/hr

is a type of bodywork that focuses on the connective tissue, or fascia, of the body. Fascia surrounds muscles, groups of muscles, blood vessels, organs, and nerves, binding some structures together while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other. Extremely focused specialty work, focusing on  injuries, or areas that need structural change. Ie frozen shoulder, range of motion increase, scar tissue reduction. At least 10 sessions are recommended for effectiveness.

Deep tissue

135/hr

therapy focuses on re-aligning deeper layers of muscles, and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches, and pains, and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and chronic sore shoulders. Increasing body circulation overall.

Medical Massage Therapy

155/hr

Therapy with the intent of improving prescribed medical conditions or pathologies ie Oncology, sleep disorders, anxiety, diabetes, depression, just to list a few.

Note: I am not a medical practitioner.

Neuromuscular massage therapy

155/HR

Neuromuscular massage therapy is a specialized form of manual massage in which pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in a muscle. Strain areas are called tender or trigger points, and they tend to be the cause of ongoing muscular pain symptoms.

Trigger point Therapy

135/hr

Trigger points are sore, painful spots, also called 'knots' found in muscles. These knots are sensitive, and when pressure is applied, it produces pain in a different part of your body. A trigger point massage helps work out those knots, and reduce the pain associated with them.

Theraputic Deep Tissue

135/HR

Therapeutic massage is a general overall massage. People tend to assume therapeutic massage means deep tissue massage, and that they will get a very strong massage. But this is not always the case. Deep tissue massage is great at relieving pain from over worked muscles, and getting your blood circulating. This is not for any focused injury work.

Sports/Injury Therapy

145/hr

Sports massage therapy is a more focused deep tissue massage, and may focus on a certain area of the body. It uses a combination of deep and light modalities to loosen muscle knots, improve blood flow, and prevent lactic acid buildup.

Swedish Relaxation

135/HR

A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

Prenatal pain management

135/hr

Pregnancy massage may help relieve some of the aches, and pains of pregnancy.

Prenatal Swedish relaxation

135/HR

Prenatal Massage is a nurturing massage that focuses on the special needs of mothers-to-be during pregnancy. Positioning, pillows, and cushions and a customized face down pillow or sideline pillows are used to enhance support, decrease pressure and increase relaxation for both body and mind.

Cupping session

145/HR

Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine where silicone, glass or plastic cups are placed on the skin to create vacuum suction in order to promote health, and healing.Cupping therapy promotes the loosening of soft, and connective tissue, scarring and adhesions, moving stagnation, and increasing lymph flow, and circulation. Only available in 1hr sessions (does not include any massage therapy)

Surgical pre/post Lymphatic Therapy

150/HR

Lymphatic drainage massage can help reduce swelling and fluid retention after routine or cosmetic surgery, which will help expedite the healing process. This can help boost recovery time post surgery, while reducing scar tissue. For cosmetic procedures, it can also help retain shape.

Lymphatic massage

135/hr

Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of massage based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. This service is typically used for swollen areas/injuries, post surgery (after medically cleared), leg swelling caused by diabetes, etc

ADD ON SERVICES

Deep tissue hot stone add on

45

Deep tissue hot stone massage therapy helps ease tension, rid muscle stiffness, increases circulation, and metabolism. Hot stones, when paired with massage help to expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. we also use deep tissue hot stone massage to treat chronic pain, limited range of motion, to improve posture, balance, and movement; and even to help our athletes train.

Cupping with added red light therapy add on

55

Cupping accompanied by red light therapy (see individual description for details)

EMS (Electric muscle stimulation)

52

Unlike TENS, though, the electrodes from an EMS machine are applied to key muscle groups. A common muscle group EMS is used on is the quadriceps after knee surgery.

The electrical signals trigger repeated contractions (tightening) of the muscles. The contractions can be short and frequent or long and sustained.

Gua sha (scraping)

35

The treatment involves using a tool to rub the skin in long strokes, applying enough pressure to create minor bruising. Gua sha may help to break down scar tissue and connective tissue, improving movement in the joints.

Gua sha (scraping) w/ cupping

50

Gua sha is used for many of the same conditions as cupping therapy and can be applied alone or in conjunction with cupping. Redness or light bruising following the gua sha treatment is an expected side effect of this therapy and has a therapeutic effect on the area treated.

Rapid Release Therapy (rapid tension gun)

15

Rapid Release Therapy enhances pain relief, improves mobility, decreases joint stress and muscle tension. This therapy relieves pain in specific regions and for conditions, including: Shoulders, Ankles and Neck. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Prossage cryotherapy

20

is formulated to warm targeted areas of the body that need a focused relief of tension. The warming ointment loosens up the muscles by relaxing thermoreceptors and increasing the flow of oxygen,  providing a myofascial release for a deeper massage. BioFreeze is used in addition as an analgesic relieving pain through a menthol-induced cooling process. Unlike medications and surgical procedures, it relieves pain naturally for conditions such as overworked muscles, chronic back pain, or arthritis.

Scalp/Neck massage add on only

70

The Head and Neck massage is a popular treatment that works to induce relaxation to the face, head, neck, and shoulder area. Using firm, gentle pressure to relieve tension, the aim is to remove blockages and bring back balance and alignment to the energy channels.

Stretch therapy - add on only

75

The overall goal of stretch therapy is to treat muscle tightness, joint imbalances, and tissue restrictions that cause movement distortions, aches and pains, and increased risk of injury. Over time, stretch therapy improves range of motion, leading to improved movement patterns and fewer injuries.

Wildflower oil Scalp massage - add on only

26

a deep style massage with wildflower oil, and hot towels, focus on the head, neck and shoulders. A head massage applies a range of techniques to help reduce stress and release tension in the upper body.
